Starting today (11th March), our Y8 students are going to each try to raise £10 in 10 days until Friday 22nd March.
Staff are also supporting and some are completing their own challenges as well!
We will post regular updates of activities and totals on our social media pages but any donations would be greatly received. Donations can be made on the MCAS app where there is a place to pay towards fundraising. We have chosen this so we have no fees and all money raised goes towards the students chosen charity the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Events that are going to be running are:
- An Easter Raffle – 25p per ticket, 5 for £1 (Monday 11th to Friday 15th March)
- Magic workshop – £1 entry (Friday 15th March)
- Guess the Sweets in a Jar – 20p per go (Thursday 14th March)
- Bake Sale – 50p per item (Thursday 22nd March).
- virtual 3 peaks challenge
- 5k a day
Students can bring money in on the day to pay for these events. Other things students are going to be doing include, sponsored silences, busking in the hall at lunch times, karaoke, helping in the community, 1k a day etc.
