Drew Brown

Drew started his career in Education 2005 undertaking a pastoral role and followed his passion for learning into teaching through the Graduate Teacher Programme in 2007. A passionate and experienced teacher, Drew joined Don Valley Academy in 2023 to support the outstanding English outcomes as Lead English Teacher, following many years teaching and working as part of the pastoral team in his previous employment.

In his former role as Lead English Teacher and Associate Assistant Principal, Drew has supported the Academy in maintaining high standards of Teaching and Learning, helping to ensure students have a high standard of quality teaching in every lesson and achieving excellent outcomes at GCSE.

Drew currently supports Behaviour and Attitudes throughout the college to provide a safe and supportive environment where all students are equally able to achieve their full potential.
